All the Right Stuff
Today marks my first day as a real college student. I'm a real one now because I'm actually doing school work. As I sit in my room alone I can think about how I got here. It's absolutely amazing, even when you think you don't have what it takes, God reminds you that you can do it.
Not many schools can boast that they start of their school year with prayer and worship going to God. It is absolutely stunning to me to see every person on campus packed in a huge room, raising their voices to Christ and surrendering. I may be in syllabus shock at the moment, but that will wear off, I will get in a routine, and I will start to fully reap the benefits of the strong Christian influence around me, I can't wait to see what is in store and how God breaks and molds me this year. Here's to a fresh, God-centered start!

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you! :) The worship time is probably one of my favorite aspects of going to a Christian college. When I visited JBU, I thought, "Yep, I definitely want to be a part of this," during the worship service.
